The music video is a satire on the genre of slasher films. A humorous take on the misguided virtuosity of the killer his patriarchal masculinity
The art direction and production design of the video is focused on building a thematic series of elements that signify the progression of the song, as well as build a contrast within the spaces that the killer occupies - mainly divided between three rooms
The Red Room
The killer’s personal sanctuary. The background is marked by a painting - a piece he produces as an artist out of the victims' blood. On the left is the rose he offers to the victims, and they remain a constant throughout. Ultimately, he sits with a sitar since he is the one creating this song on masculinity, serving the purpose of the satire
The Green Room
The dining room. This space is the depiction of his offensive and repugnant dinner with the victims. He claims no fault for their death as he perceives himself as the man upholding patriarchy. The plates are empty, except his. The candles form a structured triangle. The flowers and painting continue.

The Yellow Room
The date room. The scene represents a romantic date which killer arranges with one of his victims. The set is vibrant to emulate an isolated corner in a coffee shop, with symmetrical elements. The red rose is for the new victim, while paper roses hang from the ceiling to denote previous victims of his violence
